According to Tien Phong , from early afternoon on February 1 (the 4th day of Tet), many people returned to Hanoi to prepare for the working day on the 6th day of Tet (February 3).

Due to the sudden increase in traffic, Do Muoi Street (Hoang Mai District) has been partially congested since late afternoon.

After the Tet holiday, many people traveled by motorbike back to Hanoi, bringing with them many belongings.

Vehicles lined up, moving slowly into the city.

Ngoc Hoi street area towards the center is jammed. Vehicles have to wait 3-4 red lights to get through the intersection.

Motorbikes and cars jostle each other on the lanes.

People strictly obey traffic lights when crossing intersections.

At the Nguyen Trai - Khuat Duy Tien intersection, around 5:30 p.m. the same day, traffic congestion began to appear.

The elevated Ring Road 2 area (exit to Truong Chinh Street) in the late afternoon has a lot of traffic, vehicles move slowly.

Today and tomorrow are the peak days for people returning to Hanoi after the Tet holiday. Many roads are expected to be congested due to the sudden increase in traffic.
