Old Trafford Stadium continues to be used while MU builds a new stadium.

Last month, the “Red Devils” announced plans to build the most modern stadium in the world. Designed by architectural group Foster + Partners, the new project will be located west of the old stadium, between the Bridgewater Canal and the railway line.

This means that MU will play at Old Trafford throughout the construction process without any interruption. Architect Patrick Campbell shared: "We want to ensure that MU can continue to play at home during the project. Arranging the new stadium in a location adjacent to the stadium will help maintain the identity and spirit of Old Trafford."

The new stadium project is part of a comprehensive redevelopment plan for the Old Trafford area, not only to simply improve facilities but also to bring about major socio-economic impacts.

The project is estimated to add £7.3bn a year to the UK economy, while creating up to 92,000 jobs and more than 17,000 new homes. The area could attract an additional 1.8 million visitors a year.

Co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe said: "We are embarking on an incredible journey towards building the greatest football stadium in the world - right at the heart of Old Trafford. The current stadium has been in service for 115 years, but it is clearly falling behind."

In the coming months, MU will continue to hold consultations with fans and the local community to finalize construction plans. This is considered one of the biggest turning points for the traditional English football team.
