Meritorious Artist Vu Linh passed away not long ago, but his relatives are having conflicts over the inheritance of the assets the late artist left behind.
Most recently, a clip recording the life of artist Vu Linh affirming that house number 5 Doan Thi Diem, Phu Nhuan district, Ho Chi Minh City belongs to his niece Le Thi Hong Phuong (artist Hong Phuong) was spread online.
Appearing in this clip is male singer and actor Dong Duong. After artist Vu Linh said the house belongs to Hong Phuong, Dong Duong immediately replied: "Whatever you (artist Vu Linh) say, your children will listen to it. I will testify so that I can come over and sleep over from time to time."

This clip quickly became a topic of discussion among netizens. Many people believe that this can be considered an "oral will" and that this property belongs to Hong Phuong, which is reasonable. However, many people also believe that this cannot be considered a will and also criticize Dong Duong for interfering in the private affairs of the late artist Vu Linh's family.
In the face of this noise, Dong Duong posted a clip to officially speak out about the incident. On his personal page, Dong Duong affirmed that he was not "on any side" in the property dispute of the late artist Vu Linh:
"Dong Duong, like other artist brothers and sisters, occasionally visits him to ask about his health and exchange professional experiences. He always shares enthusiastically, everyone has memories with him.
The clip was filmed a long time ago. In the clip, Duong said that he testified that he said that at that time. At that time, Duong did not think it was a will. Duong only thought it was his confidences, memories with his family.
Today, I don't know if that clip is legally valid, so I ask for permission from Duong not to get involved. Duong doesn't side with anyone, doesn't abandon anyone. After you pass away, Duong has no opinion on anything in your family."
Singer Dong Duong confirmed that he has no involvement in the dispute between artist Vu Linh's family.
The male singer also said that he was greatly affected by the recent "verbal testament" clip: "Duong should not have made the clip so early before his 100th day. But because things went too far and affected Duong's life, work and family, I hope everyone understands.
If anyone shares this clip, I hope that everyone will not edit or distort the content, causing misunderstandings among the online community. There is a clip saying that Duong witnessed an oral will, which is wrong. Duong believes in the law."
