According to the latest statistics from the State Bank, by the end of September, the amount of savings deposited by people and businesses in banks was more than 14 million billion VND.

According to data released by the State Bank today, December 2, as of the end of September, the amount of savings people deposited in banks reached VND 6,957,686 billion, an increase of 6.5% compared to the end of 2023.

Still savings of enterprises and economic organizations increased sharply, reaching a record level of 7,076,456 billion VND. The growth rate changed from negative to positive, reaching 3.4% compared to the end of last year, the strongest increase ever.

Compared to the end of August, the amount of savings deposits of people in September reached 32,797 billion VND.

The amount of deposits of enterprises and economic organizations in September was 238,114 billion VND.

Thus, the total amount of money deposited into the banking system in September reached VND270,911 billion. If calculated on a daily average, each day in September, VND9,030 billion was deposited into the bank.

Through monitoring of Tuoi Tre Online , the amount of savings of people and businesses deposited in banks has increased over the past 2 years, even though the mobilization interest rate over the past year has been at a record low, at times averaging only 3%-4%/year.
