On the morning of October 8, the 19th term People's Council of Bac Giang province, term 2021-2026, held the 20th session (special session) to consider and decide on many important contents.
In her opening speech, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Council Lam Thi Huong Thanh said that at the meeting, the Provincial People's Council will discuss and consider 18 submissions, draft resolutions and resolutions to approve a number of important contents.
Specifically, the Provincial People's Council will consider 7 draft resolutions on public investment; including considering supplementing the list and allocating details of the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025; approving the supplementing the list and allocating details of the 2024 capital plan (investment preparation capital) for the third time; especially giving opinions on the medium-term public investment plan, the national target program for the period 2026-2030 of Bac Giang province (expected for the first time), as a basis for sending to the Ministry of Planning and Investment for synthesis and submission to the Prime Minister for consideration.
The Provincial People's Council considered a number of resolutions on finance and state budget; considered and approved the master plan for Hiep Hoa urban area, Bac Giang province until 2045, scale 1/10,000; discussed and considered issuing a number of policies to support the preservation and promotion of ethnic minority languages in the province, period 2024-2030...
These are necessary, urgent, and within the authority of the Standing Committee of the People's Council, the Committees of the People's Council, and relevant agencies, which have seriously prepared and implemented the procedures in accordance with the law; have reported to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for approval; the Committees of the Provincial People's Council have thoroughly examined and are basically qualified to be submitted to the meeting in accordance with the law.
Also at the meeting, the Bac Giang Provincial People's Council carried out personnel work within its authority. Accordingly, the Bac Giang Provincial People's Council passed a resolution to dismiss the Chairman of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Council and to remove her from the duties of a delegate to the 19th Bac Giang Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026, at the request of the Standing Committee of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Council for Ms. Le Thi Thu Hong, former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Council.
The Provincial People's Council passed a resolution to dismiss the position of Chairman of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee and to remove from office the 19th Bac Giang Provincial People's Council delegate for the 2021-2026 term, at the request of the Provincial People's Council Chairman for Mr. Le Anh Duong, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee. Mr. Le Anh Duong retired early from October 1, 2024.
The People's Council of Bac Giang province passed a resolution to dismiss Mr. Le O Pich from the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province at the request of the Chairman of the People's Committee of the province.
Previously, the Central Inspection Committee decided to impose a disciplinary warning on the Party Executive Committee of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province for the 2021-2026 term and Mr. and Mrs. Le Anh Duong, Le Thi Thu Hong, and Le O Pich.
