Dismissal of Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council for Mr. Tran Manh Dung

On February 20, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council held a thematic meeting, focusing on giving opinions, approving 15 thematic resolutions and dismissing Mr. Tran Manh Dung from the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

At the meeting, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council passed 15 resolutions. In particular, the Resolution on the establishment of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions on the basis of receiving the functions and tasks of state management of religion from the Department of Home Affairs. The Department of Science and Technology was established on the most reasonable basis of the Department of Information and Communications and the Department of Science and Technology. The Department of Home Affairs was established on the basis of merging the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs and the Department of Home Affairs. The Department of Finance was established on the most reasonable basis of the Department of Planning and Investment and the Department of Finance.

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council also passed a resolution to establish the Department of Construction on the basis of merging the Department of Transport and the Department of Construction. Establish the Department of Agriculture and Environment on the basis of merging the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment. Establish the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the most reasonable basis of the Department of Tourism and the Department of Culture and Sports. Establish the Provincial People's Committee Office on the basis of merging the Department of Foreign Affairs at the Provincial People's Committee Office. After the arrangement and streamlining, the provincial professional agencies will reduce by 7 agencies.

At the same time, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council approved the establishment of the Culture - Social Committee of the 7th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026 on the basis of merging the Culture - Social Committee and the Ethnic Committee; amending Resolution No. 03/2021 of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council on the establishment of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council in the direction of reducing 1 department in the organizational structure of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council of Khanh Hoa.

At this session, Mr. Tran Manh Dung was also dismissed from the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Khanh Hoa province, term VII, 2021 - 2026, due to job transfer.

Previously, Mr. Tran Manh Dung was assigned by the Provincial Party Standing Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the Nha Trang City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, starting from December 15, 2024.
