Da Nang meets with liaison committees and veterans of twin localities

On the afternoon of March 28, the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City organized a meeting with liaison committees and veterans of the twinned localities (Quang Nam, Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa) to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the City Party Committee and the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Da Nang. Attending the meeting were Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh; Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Council Tran Phuoc Son; Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee Tran Thang Loi; Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, and leaders of the localities of Quang Nam, Thanh Hoa and Hai Phong.

Speaking at the program, Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi said that the meeting had special significance, as it was an opportunity for the Veterans Liaison Committee of the twinned localities to meet and recall the unforgettable heroic memories of the heroic fighting days on the Quang Da front. In the coming time, the Party Committee, government and people of the localities of Hai Phong , Thanh Hoa, Quang Nam and Da Nang will continue the heroic past, promote cooperation and help each other to develop together. At the program, the city leaders interacted and presented gifts to 90 delegates of the Liaison Committee and veterans. On this occasion, Da Nang city also donated 1 billion VND to Hai Phong city to support gratitude and social security activities.
