MB is in the TOP 500 largest enterprises in Southeast Asia

On June 18, 2024, Fortune Magazine (USA) officially announced the FORTUNE Southeast Asia 500 rankings, honoring MB as one of the TOP 500 largest enterprises in Southeast Asia.

MB was officially honored in the TOP Fortune 500, one of the world's most prestigious rankings by Fortune Magazine (USA). The FORTUNE Southeast Asia 500 ranking is also the first ranking dedicated to the Southeast Asia region of FORTUNE.

Accordingly, 500 companies in 7 countries (Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines and Cambodia) and 57 sectors (including aviation, textiles, chemicals...) were evaluated by Fortune based on 2023 revenue criteria.

MB Bank is officially in the Fortune TOP 500 rankings.

With the outstanding results that MB achieved in 2023 such as pre-tax profit reaching VND 26,306 billion (15.7% growth), in the TOP 3 of banking industry profits, with the total accumulated customers by the end of 2023 reaching 26.5 million customers, it shows the efforts to achieve outstanding growth of MB.

According to information from the rankings, MB is ranked 20th in the Finance industry and ranked 99th out of 500 largest enterprises in Southeast Asia.

With strong and sustainable development steps in 2023, it will be the driving force for MB to continue promoting the strategy of Becoming a digital enterprise - Leading financial group", steadfast in the goal of being in the "Top 3 markets in terms of efficiency, aiming for the Top in Asia."

According to Mr. Phan Nhu Anh, CEO of Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank, by the end of June, MB is expected to grow by 6-6.5%. With this year's growth target of about 15.5%, MB Bank needs to achieve about 8% more in the last six months of the year. The bank is expected to complete the target in early or mid-fourth quarter.

MB is currently focusing on end-to-end processes, providing customers with automated experiences on MB's digital applications. In particular, the bank will rely on the MBBank App platform for individual customers and BIZ MBBank for corporate customers to continue lending and automatic approval.
