Thanh Hoa: launching the model "Bright Border Area"

On February 28, in Yen Khuong commune, Lang Chanh district, Thanh Hoa Provincial Women's Union coordinated with Yen Khuong Border Guard Station to organize border security training and launch the model "Bright Border Village"

At the training course, 150 members, women and people of Yen Khuong commune were informed about the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's and provincial policies and laws, and local regulations on land border security.

On the same day, at Tu Chieng village, the Provincial Women's Union, Lang Chanh District Women's Union and Yen Khuong Border Guard Station launched the model "Bright Village in Border Area" and provided in-kind support to women participating in building the model.

The model of "Bright Village in Border Areas" aims to propagate and mobilize people in villages and hamlets to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and local regulations; to advise and coordinate with localities to strengthen Party committees, Party cells, village management boards, and village front work boards to achieve clean and strong villages.

Thanh Hoa Provincial Women's Union and delegates presented material support to women participating in building the "Bright Village in the Border Area" model and organizing tree planting in Tu Chieng village.

Support and participate in socio-economic development associated with strengthening national defense and security; orient livestock and crop farming, guide afforestation, develop traditional industries in the village; mobilize resources to expand and concretize roads in the village, build clean water systems, public lighting and civil works; implement civilized lifestyles in weddings, funerals and festivals, preserve national cultural identity, eliminate illiteracy...

Through this model, the combined strength of the political system will be promoted, all resources will be mobilized and concentrated to build new rural areas, helping people reduce poverty; at the same time, the quality of mass mobilization work will be improved in performing the tasks of building and protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security...
