On April 7, speaking with Dan Tri reporter, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Dan, Head of Ea Kar District Police (Dak Lak) confirmed that the unit is investigating the case of a subject sneaking into a house, hiding to commit theft.
At around midnight on April 7, Mr. H.'s family (village 6B, Cu Elang commune, Ea Kar district) was sleeping soundly when suddenly, a person dressed in black rushed in, strangled him, and forced him to lie still.

Mr. H. reacted by kicking hard, causing the subject to fall backwards. At the same time, he pressed down on the thief and called for help from the neighbors.
Afterwards, the subject was tied up by the people and reported to the police.
After a quick struggle, the suspect confessed that he climbed over the wall to break into Mr. H's house and discovered that the second floor door was unlocked, so he sneaked in and hid in the bathroom for more than an hour, waiting for the homeowner to fall asleep before taking action.

When discovering that Mr. H.'s family was fast asleep, the subject moved down to the first floor to steal property but was restrained by the homeowner.
It is known that when asked by the people why he sneaked into Mr. H's house to steal property, the subject replied "I was foolish".
Authorities are taking statements from this subject to serve the investigation.
