(HTV) - The National Press Awards Ceremony on the National Assembly and People's Councils 2025 took place in Hanoi, honoring outstanding press works reflecting the legislative and supervisory work of the National Assembly in 2024.
On the evening of January 5, at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labor Cultural Palace, Hanoi, the 3rd National Press Awards Ceremony for the National Assembly and People's Councils - 2025 (Dien Hong Award) took place. The event honored outstanding press works, contributing to promoting the legislative and supervisory work of the National Assembly, while reflecting urgent issues of the country.

Speaking at the award ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man highly appreciated this year's press works, especially the creativity and innovation in reflecting important innovations in the legislative work of the National Assembly. Many articles highlighted the efforts and determination to improve the quality of the National Assembly's activities, as well as progress in administrative reform, decentralization and delegation of power.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized: “I believe that journalists will continue to promote their love for the profession, accompany the National Assembly in promptly reporting on the activities of the National Assembly, reflecting urgent issues of the country and helping authorities solve problems of the people and businesses.”
During the award ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 8 A prizes, 15 B prizes, 20 C prizes and 40 Encouragement prizes to outstanding works from 105 works that entered the Final Round. In addition, 20 groups also received Certificates of Merit from the Chief of the National Assembly Office for their outstanding achievements contributing to the success of the Dien Hong Award.
In particular, Ho Chi Minh City Television won a C prize with the work "Escape from the cocoon - Reaching out", a series of 03 episodes by the News Center reporter group, Ho Chi Minh City Television. This is a remarkable success, recognizing the important contribution of reporters in propaganda work and reflecting social issues.
The 3rd Dien Hong Award has ended, but these passionate journalistic works continue to affirm the important role of the press in accompanying the National Assembly and People's Council, contributing to promoting the country's development.
