In her speech welcoming the new school year 2024-2025, the first school year the school has been in operation, Party Cell Secretary - Principal of Vo Thi Sau Primary School Le Thu Hang said that Vo Thi Sau Primary School was established on May 28, 2024, and is proud to be one of two typical City-level projects of Hai Ba Trung District to be awarded a sign to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).
The newly built school is beautiful, the most modern in the district, with 20 classrooms and 6 functional rooms, full office, modern teaching equipment, creating the best learning environment for students. The school's team of 24 cadres, teachers and staff are selected from schools in the district, all are exemplary teachers with good expertise and good qualities.
Expressing her joy at welcoming 326 students, including 100 first graders, to the first school year at the new school, teacher Le Thu Hang emphasized: “It is an honor to be the first students of Vo Thi Sau Primary School. You have the mission to write the first pages of history in the school’s tradition. I believe that from the pride of studying at the newly established school, Vo Thi Sau Primary School students will fly high and far, continuing to conquer the heights of intelligence.”

This morning, the opening ceremony of Tay Son Primary School (Le Dai Hanh Ward, Hai Ba Trung District) welcomed the Head of the Department of Primary Education (Ministry of Education and Training) Thai Van Tai, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City Dang Thi Phuong Hoa and leaders of Hai Ba Trung District to join in the joy with the school's staff, teachers, employees and students.
Principal of Tay Son Primary School Nguyen Thi Le Thuy shared that the school has met national standards with a long history of achievements in “good teaching, good learning”, always leading in emulation movements, receiving a Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training, achieving the title of Excellent Labor Collective at the City level. Tay Son Primary School students have won nearly 600 national, international and district-level awards in culture and sports, making the traditional golden pages shine.
"Each new school year is a new journey with many interesting things but also many difficulties. According to the Board of Directors of Tay Son Primary School, the school always identifies student-centered education as an approach in which all activities in the school are directed towards the needs, abilities, and comprehensive development of students. In that context, environmental protection is naturally integrated into teaching and learning activities so that students not only understand the importance but also actively participate in protecting the environment.
Therefore, the school always focuses on innovating teaching and learning activities to protect the environment: integrating environmental education into the curriculum, encouraging students to participate in environmental protection activities, using active and experiential teaching methods, creating a sustainable learning environment, raising awareness and personal responsibility...
The school organizes many extracurricular activities such as creating green spaces in the classroom, cleaning the school grounds, recycling waste, and educating about environmental protection... Students are creative with recycled products and are interested in the Stem project, in which the "leaf-sucking elephant" product won third prize at the city level and is competing at the national level.
