Hanoi Children's Hospital will be inaugurated on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital.

Accordingly, the City People's Committee decided to inaugurate, put up a signboard and put the Hanoi Children's Hospital in Yen Nghia Ward (Ha Dong District) into operation to meet the needs of medical examination and treatment for children. This is a practical activity to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital. The inauguration ceremony is scheduled to be held on the morning of October 8.

The Hanoi Department of Health is in charge of granting a license for medical examination and treatment activities to Hanoi Children's Hospital. At the same time, direct Hanoi Children's Hospital to organize professional activities to ensure progress, safety and compliance with legal regulations. Complete the organizational structure, receive facilities, install equipment, and ensure conditions for professional work to be carried out to put the hospital into operation according to the roadmap, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and efficiency.

The Department of Information and Communications coordinates with the Department of Health in communicating about medical services, expertise and child health care programs of Hanoi Children's Hospital. At the same time, promote instructions on using online services such as: Appointment booking, remote health consultation and providing timely information about community programs, organizing communication campaigns to raise awareness about child health care on mass media channels and social networks...

Previously, the Hanoi Department of Health announced the decisions to transfer and appoint the Director and staff of the Hanoi Children's Hospital. Ngo Quang Hung, Deputy Director of the Saint Paul General Hospital and Deputy Director in charge of the Hanoi Children's Hospital, holds the position of Director of the Hanoi Children's Hospital.

The project to build Hanoi Children's Hospital Phase 1 in Yen Nghia Ward, Ha Dong District, Hanoi started at the end of February 2022. This is a Grade I hospital, established under Decision No. 1646/QD-UBND dated April 11, 2016 of the Hanoi People's Committee.

Hanoi Children's Hospital is expected to contribute to reducing the load on the National Children's Hospital and neighboring provinces, meeting the medical examination and treatment needs of the people of the capital and the northern region.
