(QNO) - This morning, December 23, leaders of Duy Xuyen district, along with departments and organizations, visited and celebrated Christmas at Catholic and Protestant establishments in the area.
Duy Xuyen district has Catholic and Protestant establishments including: Hoa Lam Parish (Duy Trung commune), Tra Kieu Parish (Duy Son commune), Congregation of the Lovers of the Holy Cross (Duy Son commune), Tra Kieu Paul Community (Duy Son commune) and Thu Bon Protestant Church (Duy Thu commune).
In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the leaders of Duy Xuyen district sent their best wishes for health, a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. At the same time, they praised and acknowledged the great contributions of Catholic and Protestant dignitaries and followers in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns launched by the Front, in building the great national unity bloc and building new rural areas.
The district leaders hope that priests, pastors, monks, nuns, dignitaries, officials and parishioners in the district will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, live a "good life and good religion", "respect God and love the country"; take care of building families and homeland, and contribute to the overall development of the district.
