With the connection of the Vietnamese Embassy in Slovakia, Ha Tinh is promoting the signing of a bilateral cooperation agreement with Trnava province to open up new development opportunities for the locality.
Continuing the working program in European countries, on October 2 (Vietnam time), a high-level delegation of Ha Tinh province led by Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai visited and worked with the Vietnamese Embassy in Slovakia and met with the Ha Tinh Association in Slovakia. Welcoming and working with the delegation was comrade Nguyen Tuan - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Slovakia. At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai and members of the delegation informed the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Slovakia about the outstanding achievements of Ha Tinh in recent years.
After years of re-establishment, Ha Tinh has overcome difficulties, promoted potentials and advantages, and achieved many outstanding results. The economic scale has continuously increased; the economic structure has shifted positively towards industrialization. The cultural and social fields have received attention and achieved many results; education is among the leading provinces in the country; social security is taken care of; national defense and security are ensured. Achieving these results has been due to the important contributions of foreign affairs, overseas Vietnamese and overseas enterprises who are children of Ha Tinh.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai emphasized that during this working trip, through the connection of the Vietnamese Embassy in Slovakia, Ha Tinh was pleased to work with Trnava province to exchange cooperation information, moving towards signing a bilateral cooperation agreement between the two provinces, opening up new development opportunities.

At the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Tuan - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Slovakia expressed his joy at the results that Ha Tinh has achieved in recent years; at the same time, he said that the Vietnamese community in Slovakia has just been recognized as the 14th ethnic minority in the host country. This demonstrates the positive role of our overseas Vietnamese in contributing to the development of Slovakia, thereby further contributing to the good development of the Vietnam - Slovakia friendship.
In the coming time, the Embassy will continue to support Ha Tinh province to soon sign a cooperation agreement between Ha Tinh and Trnava province; support connection, introduction, promotion of potential, advantages, image, people of Ha Tinh and promote local enterprises to invest in the area.

At the meeting, many overseas Vietnamese expressed pride in the province's rapid development and wished to contribute their efforts and intelligence to building their homeland.
