Effectively and creatively disseminate General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's book about the National Assembly

On the afternoon of July 16, at the National Assembly House, the Central Propaganda Department, the National Assembly Standing Committee and the National Political Publishing House Truth jointly organized the launching ceremony of the book "The National Assembly in the process of innovation to meet the requirements of building and perfecting the socialist rule-of-law state of Vietnam" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man Welcoming the National Assembly Standing Committee and agencies for being proactive, positive, serious and responsible in the process of editing, publishing and introducing the book of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at a very important time for the country: All levels, sectors and localities are actively preparing to organize party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; summarizing a number of theoretical and practical issues on the socialist-oriented renovation process over the past 40 years in Vietnam.

The implementation of research and study of the book's content is not only to promote core values, but also to create a broad political activity, attract and mobilize the combined strength of the entire political system, promote the intelligence of experts, scientists, voters and people to participate in summarizing theories and practices on the cause of national renewal, building and perfecting the socialist rule of law state of Vietnam.

To widely disseminate the book's content to a wide range of cadres, party members, voters and people, the National Assembly Chairman requested the Central Propaganda Department to coordinate with the National Assembly Standing Committee, the National Political Publishing House Truth and press agencies to focus on disseminating the book's content to a wide range of cadres, party members, voters and people in a variety of rich, creative, practical and effective forms; develop learning, research and dissemination materials, creating fundamental and comprehensive changes in awareness in the political system and the whole society about the position, role, goals, tasks and solutions for building a socialist rule-of-law state and innovating the organization and operation of the National Assembly in the new period.

The National Assembly Chairman also requested the National Assembly Party Delegation to lead and direct the National Assembly Standing Committee, the National Assembly agencies, the agencies under the National Assembly Standing Committee, the National Assembly delegations, National Assembly deputies, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the National Assembly's support apparatus to thoroughly study the guiding viewpoints of the Party and General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to thoroughly grasp and implement them in the leadership, direction, administration, and effective implementation of the tasks and powers of the National Assembly and the National Assembly agencies as well as in the activities of advising and serving the National Assembly, in order to contribute to further improving the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of the National Assembly's operations.

Party committees and organizations at all levels should promptly organize for cadres and party members to study and thoroughly grasp the content of the book; incorporate the study, grasp and implementation of the Party's and General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's guiding viewpoints into the content of party cell activities; help cadres, party members, voters and people nationwide to more deeply perceive the Party's important thoughts, viewpoints and orientations on continuing to build and perfect. The book "The National Assembly in the process of innovation to meet the requirements of building and perfecting the socialist rule-of-law state of Vietnam" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong was published by the Party Delegation of the National Assembly in coordination with the National Political Publishing House Truth and relevant agencies.

The book selects 95 articles, speeches and interviews of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, demonstrating his profound strategic thinking and vision on building and perfecting the Vietnamese socialist rule-of-law state of the people, by the people, for the people; at the same time, reflecting his close attention to innovating the organization and operation of the National Assembly to meet the requirements of the new situation.

The book consists of three parts. Part 1 : Building and perfecting the Socialist Rule of Law State of Vietnam, including 15 articles, speeches, and interviews with General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on socialism and the path to socialism in Vietnam; building and perfecting the Socialist Rule of Law State of Vietnam; the relationship between the Party's leadership, the State's management, and the people's mastery; innovating the organization and operation of a number of institutions in the Rule of Law State such as the Government, People's Court, People's Procuracy, State Audit, local authorities, etc.

Part two: Innovation in the organization and operation of the National Assembly, including 80 articles, speeches, interviews, letters... by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on the path of innovation and development of the Vietnamese National Assembly, especially during the time he was Chairman of the National Assembly, directly directing the research to amend and promulgate the 2013 Constitution - an extremely important task for the development of our country in the recent period; on new developments in parliamentary diplomacy; innovation and improvement of the quality of activities of National Assembly deputies and the National Assembly's support apparatus.

Part 3 : The trust, support, consensus and affection of cadres, people and international friends towards comrade Nguyen Phu Trong, selecting 57 typical opinions of cadres, party members, dignitaries, intellectuals, National Assembly deputies, voters nationwide and international friends, expressing perspectives, thoughts and feelings towards the leadership and direction of comrade Nguyen Phu Trong.

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh introduced the purpose of publication and the value, meaning and content of the book.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh emphasized that the book "The National Assembly in the process of innovation, meeting the requirements of building and perfecting the Socialist Rule of Law State of Vietnam" is the crystallization of a strategic mindset, vision, responsibility, and deep devotion to the country and people of Comrade Nguyen Phu Trong.

Each article and speech affirms Comrade's steadfastness and determination in the cause of building and defending the Vietnamese Fatherland under the leadership of the Party.

The book summarizes achievements in developing theories on socialism and the path to socialism; supplements and develops theories on the rule of law state and the practical process of building a socialist rule of law state of Vietnam of the people, by the people, for the people.
