That is the Vietnam - Russia Joint Venture Bank ( VRB ) when listing the highest mobilization interest rate of up to 6.4%/year for corporate customers, 6%/year for individual customers.
The VND mobilization interest rate for corporate customers listed by VRB is significantly higher than the interest rate listed for individual customers. This is a rare phenomenon, because normally, banks list lower interest rates for corporate customers than for individual customers.
According to the interest rate table at the counter for VRB's corporate customers, the interest rate for 1-month term is 4.1%/year, 2-month term is 4.2%/year, 3-month term is 4.3%/year and 5-month term is up to 4.4%/year.
VRB listed the bank interest rate for 6-8 month term at 5.8%/year, while the 9 month term is 5.9%/year.
VRB listed the 12-month term deposit interest rate for corporate customers at 6%/year. The interest rates for 13, 15, and 18-month terms are 6.1%, 6.2%, and 6.3%/year, respectively.
The highest mobilization interest rate listed by VRB is 6.4%/year with a term of 24-36 months.
Meanwhile, the VND deposit interest rate table at the counter for individual customers listed by VRB is 0.2-0.7%/year lower than the interest rate table for corporate customers.
Specifically, the interest rate for 1-month term is 3.8%/year, 2-month term is 3.9%/year, 3.5-month term is 4%/year, 6-8-month term is 5.1%/year, 9-month term is 5.3%/year, 12-15-month term is 5.7%/year, 18-month term is 5.9%/year and 24-36-month term is listed at 6%/year.
The above interest rate schedule is posted by VRB from February 7 and may change depending on the location.
