According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on March 18, the cold air mass continued to affect other places in the Northeast region; then affected the North Central region, the Northwest, the Central Central region and some places in the South Central region. Strong northeast wind level 3, coastal areas level 3-4, some places gust level 6.

The Northern region and the area from Thanh Hoa - Hue continue to be cold, the mountainous areas of the North have some places with severe cold.

The lowest temperature in this cold air mass in the North and North Central regions is generally from 13-16 degrees, in the high mountainous areas of the North, it is below 10 degrees; from Quang Binh to Hue, it is generally 16-18 degrees.

At sea, from the Gulf of Tonkin, Quang Tri to Khanh Hoa, the East of the South China Sea (including the East of Truong Sa archipelago) there are strong northeast winds of level 6, gusting to level 7-8, rough seas.

The North East Sea area (including Hoang Sa archipelago) has northeast wind level 6-7, gust level 8-9, rough sea.

In the Central East Sea area, the sea area from Ninh Thuan to Ca Mau, the West of the South East Sea (including the West of Truong Sa archipelago) there is strong northeast wind level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8-9, rough seas.

The Meteorological Agency warns that the area from Ha Tinh to Khanh Hoa will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some areas having heavy rain. There is a risk of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.

Southern Vietnam

Cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and at night; sunny during the day, with some hot weather. Light winds. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees. Highest temperature: 31-34 degrees, some places over 35 degrees.
