Ban Gioc Waterfall Tourist Area Management Board has Official Dispatch No. 424/TB-BQLKDLTBG, dated December 10, 2024, regarding recommended time for tourists to visit Ban Gioc Waterfall Tourist Area.

Ban Gioc Waterfall (Chongqing).

Ban Gioc Waterfall is located in the Northeast of Cao Bang province, Trung Khanh district, more than 80 km from the city center, known as the fourth largest and most beautiful waterfall in the world, among the waterfalls on the border between countries, is a waterfall in the top 10 most magnificent waterfalls in the world. Ban Gioc Waterfall is about 300 m wide, about 35 m high, consisting of 3 floors, located between the Vietnam - China border, large volumes of water fall down through many limestone steps, creating white misty water curtains, as magical as a fairyland, captivating people's hearts.

However, every year, from the end of November of the previous year to the beginning of April of the following year, the amount of water at Ban Gioc waterfall is very low, creating an uncomfortable feeling for visitors. The Management Board of Ban Gioc waterfall tourist area has increased coordination with local authorities and hydropower operators, harmonizing the exploitation of water resources upstream of Quay Son river to ensure the harmony of water flows to Ban Gioc waterfall.

To ensure the rights of tourists visiting Ban Gioc Waterfall, the Management Board of Ban Gioc Waterfall Tourist Area recommends that tourists visit Ban Gioc Waterfall between 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. every day.
