Foreign investors are dumping stocks again.

With huge selling pressure around the peak, not only from domestic investors but also foreign investors dumping, VN-Index turned to decrease.

Foreign investors net sold more than 1,000 billion VND on HOSE, contributing to negative effects on the market.

The Vietnamese stock market fluctuated strongly on September 13. The selling pressure on the market was quite large, in which foreign investors also net sold 1,090 billion VND on the HOSE floor, so the VN-Index was only slightly green in the morning session, but in the afternoon session, the market turned around and fell sharply, at times falling more than 10 points.

Most of the major industry groups in the market are leaning towards red. In the VN30-Index basket, only a few stocks remained green such as: MWG increased by 3.05%, GAS increased by 2.82%, VIB increased by 2.94%, CTG, VPB, POW, PLX increased by nearly 1%, while the remaining stocks mostly decreased. In which, the Vingroup trio decreased simultaneously with VHM decreased by 2.62%, VRE decreased by 1.69%, VIC decreased by 1.82%, VNM decreased by 1.49%, SAB decreased by 1.24%, HPG decreased by 1.22%, GVR decreased by 1.76%...

In the real estate stock group, in addition to the Vingroup trio, NVL also decreased by 4.8%, DXG also decreased by 2.2%, DXS decreased by 2.6%, IDC decreased by 1.2%, KBC decreased by 1.3%, LDG decreased by 1.9%, SCR decreased by 1.6%... On the contrary, CEO increased by 2.9%, HDG increased by 1.4%, QCG increased by 2.1%...

The securities group also had many stocks that turned down sharply such as: VND down 2%, VCI down 2.38%, HCM down 1.26%, VIX down 2.91%, FTS down 1.2%, ORS down 2.48%, VDS down 2.62%... The banking group had MBB down 1.04%, STB down 1.24%, SHB down 1.59%; VCB, TCB, SSB down nearly 1%...

At the end of the trading session, VN-Index decreased by 7,055 points (0.57%) to 1,238.39 points with 331 stocks decreasing in price, 192 stocks increasing in price and 50 stocks remaining unchanged.

At the end of the session on the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index also decreased by 0.21 points (0.08%) to 256.11 points with 105 stocks decreasing in price, 77 stocks increasing in price and 65 stocks remaining unchanged. Liquidity increased compared to the previous session, with the total transaction value in the whole market reaching nearly VND33,400 billion.

After returning to net buying the previous day, in this trading session, foreign investors turned to net selling 1,090 billion VND on the HOSE floor.
