60th anniversary of Nam Dinh Electricity Company's traditional day (April 8, 1965 - April 8, 2025): Electricity industry accompanies the development trend of the province

The model conversion has marked a major step forward for the Company in line with the development trend of the country. The work of arranging the organizational structure to perfect the management apparatus has achieved many important steps, streamlining, compactness, professionalism, efficiency with the desire to bring satisfaction to all customers. This is also the stage where the Company implements major target programs assigned by the Party, Government and Nam Dinh province, which is to take over the entire rural low-voltage grid and directly sell electricity.

to households, ensuring that people enjoy electricity prices according to Government regulations, completing the program of bringing electricity to 100% of communes and towns in Nam Dinh province. In the Northern region, Nam Dinh became the second province to receive the rural low-voltage grid. Voltage quality was improved, safety in electricity use was enhanced. In particular, rural grid losses decreased from 32% before receiving the grid to only 9.3%. Up to now, losses have continued to decrease sharply to less than 5%. The electricity sector's large-scale renovation and upgrading of the grid infrastructure meets local development needs and makes the rural landscape more prosperous, contributing to the implementation of the Resolution of the 7th Central Party Committee Conference (10th tenure) on agriculture , rural areas, farmers, and building a new rural program.

The important changes of Nam Dinh Electricity Company up to now are marked in many areas of operation. The power grid system in Nam Dinh province has 5 voltage levels, of which the upstream power grid including 500kV and 220kV supplying to the province is managed and operated by the National Power Transmission Corporation. The power grid system from 110kV, 35kV and 22kV is managed and operated by Nam Dinh Electricity Company. The scale of the power grid managed and operated by Nam Dinh Electricity Company includes: 404.4km of 110kV lines and 20 transformer stations, 31 transformers, with a total installed capacity of 1,333.5MVA; all 110kV stations are connected for remote control. The 22kV, 35kV medium voltage power grid in the whole province includes nearly 3,000km of lines; The number of distribution transformer stations is 4,763 with a total capacity of 1,984 MVA, supplying electricity to 100% of customers in 175 communes, wards and towns of the province.

Currently, the Company is actively implementing comprehensive digital transformation in all management, operation and electricity business activities to benefit people and businesses, while constantly improving the quality of electricity service provision. The areas of digital transformation that have been well implemented include the following processes: Customer service business; safety engineering; finance and accounting; construction investment; internal management... Most of the operations are applied on digital platforms, digitalized documents with digital signatures; online meeting room applications to all affiliated units.

In order to improve electricity services in customer care, Nam Dinh Electricity Company has deployed many comprehensive solutions applying scientific and technological advances, promoting digitalization, building a diverse and modern customer care service system, solutions to improve the quality of convenient customer services to quickly satisfy the needs of users. The company has replaced and installed 100% of remote electronic meters. With a total of 805,050 electricity meters, manual meter reading has ended. Providing 100% of online electricity services on the National Public Service Portal; digitizing 100% of electricity purchase and sale contracts, the rate of customers paying electricity bills without using cash is over 96%. From the policies of Vietnam Electricity Group and Northern Power Corporation, Nam Dinh Power Company has turned into action with positive changes in communication relations, creating an equal cooperative relationship with customers according to the motto "innovation - professionalism - efficiency", further improving customer satisfaction index. The implementation of the Company's technical and economic indicators has always been completed and exceeded the targets assigned by the Corporation. In addition, the unit is always proactive and active in fully automating the 110kV power grid; deploying smart power grids by using remote switching control devices; applying cameras, flycams and new devices to check and prevent power grid incidents; deploying repair, connection and cleaning of the power grid using Hotline technology without power outages, especially early using electronic meters to collect data remotely with 100% of customers buying household electricity in the whole province.

With the existing power infrastructure system, by 2025, the Company will provide 801,224 customers in the province with more than 3.5 billion kWh of stable, safe and continuous commercial electricity, an increase of 323 times compared to the early days of its establishment. Total revenue from electricity sales is currently over 7,000 billion VND. Annual commercial electricity output is always in the top of the Northern Power Corporation.

With many outstanding achievements, the Party organization, unions, and professional activities of Nam Dinh Power Company have always been highly appreciated by superiors. In the past 10 years, the Party Committee of the Company has always achieved the title of exemplary clean and strong Party Committee. Nam Dinh Power Company has been honored to receive many noble awards from the Party and the State such as: Hero of the People's Armed Forces in the anti-American period, First, Second, and Third Class Labor Medals. The Company's Trade Union and Youth Union were awarded the Third Class Labor Medal.
