On February 7, foreign investors continued to have a net selling session on the Vietnamese stock market. The strongest net selling was of Masan's MSN stock.

At the end of the trading session on February 7, the market price of Masan Group's MSN code increased slightly by 0.45%, to the price range of 67,700 VND/share.
Notably, in today's session, MSN's total trading volume increased sharply to more than 15.5 million units, more than 4 times higher than the average session in the past month.
The strong seller of MSN was foreign investors, as foreign investors net sold nearly 900 billion VND worth of shares, the highest level in the stock market on God of Wealth day.
Trading statistics show that in the past month, MSN has only increased slightly by more than 1% in market price. Regarding business performance, the newly released financial report for the fourth quarter of 2024 shows that the group recorded an increase in both revenue and net profit for the whole year of 2024.
Specifically, MSN's net revenue in 2024 reached VND83,177 billion, up 6% over the previous year. MSN's financial revenue last year increased by 68%, reaching VND4,043 billion. Meanwhile, interest expenses tended to decrease.
As a result, Masan's consolidated pre-tax profit reached VND6,024 billion, an increase of more than 2.3 times.
Masan Chairman is Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang - who has just returned to the list of USD billionaires at the beginning of the year of At Ty, according to data from Forbes.
Mr. Quang's latest assets as of February 7 are 1 billion USD. Masan's Chairman was first recognized as a USD billionaire in the first announcement in 2019.
Since then, Mr. Quang has been a rather special case, constantly entering and leaving the rankings, with a net worth often hovering around the 1 billion USD mark.
Forbes has many criteria to calculate the net worth of businessmen, including stock value. Last year, MSN was under considerable pressure when foreign shareholders withdrew a large amount of capital.
Specifically, according to information from Masan last November, after selling 76 million MSN shares, the ownership ratio of SK Group - a major Korean investor in Masan - was only 3.67% of charter capital.
