Rewarding many units for effectively implementing visual propaganda work in the city in 2024

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of October 11, the Department of Culture and Sports held a Conference to summarize the 2024 Hai Phong City Visual Propaganda Competition. Attending the Conference were representatives of leaders of departments, branches, sectors and localities in the city.

The 2024 Visual Cheering Contest was implemented with rich content and diverse forms, ensuring compliance with regulations, truly creating a brilliant, lively and impressive cheering atmosphere in central areas and areas hosting major events of the country, city and locality.

Through 2 phases in April - May and August - September 2024, localities have proactively and seriously implemented, systematically and effectively, creating a brilliant and impressive space to celebrate major holidays of the country, city and locality. Many units have implemented with focus and key points with many diverse and rich forms such as: large-scale propaganda paintings, billboards, propaganda banners, bulletin boards, news stations, street slogans, propaganda flags, propaganda pennants, colored flags... with many means and methods of propaganda such as: propaganda radio, propaganda groups, mobile propaganda vehicles, coordinating the organization of mobile exhibitions, mobile film screenings... notably in districts: Kien An, Hai An, Hong Bang, An Duong, Tien Lang, Cat Hai...

Regarding the hanging of the national flag and the Party flag, localities basically strictly followed the regulations, the rate of people hanging flags this year is higher than last year, such as in districts: An Duong, Tien Lang, Le Chan, Ngo Quyen, Hong Bang, Kien An, Do Son... with the rate reaching from 90% to over 95%. The form of flag decoration has been innovated, people painted the Party and national flags on roofs and rolling doors basically following the instructions of the Department of Culture and Sports, this is a trend that contributes to expressing and spreading patriotism and national pride on the occasion of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Some districts have installed many stainless steel welded flag clusters, invested in fish flag systems with more than 100 stainless steel flagpoles, and installed large-sized panels up to ^100m2 , typically Kien An and An Duong districts. Electronic cheering works at night combined with sound and light create highlights, impressions, and effectiveness.

Many districts have 100% of communes, wards, towns, agencies, units, businesses, and schools actively participating in decoration and propaganda such as districts: Thuy Nguyen, Hai An, Hong Bang...

In addition to doing a good job of propaganda and agitation, some districts also actively and orientedly propagate on the internet and radio, creating an atmosphere of widespread, impressive and highlighted propaganda activities, combined with cultural and artistic activities such as in districts: Tien Lang, Ngo Quyen, Vinh Bao, Bach Long Vi...).

In recognition of the achievements, the Department of Culture and Sports awarded the Excellent Prize to the Cultural - Information and Sports Centers of the districts: Kien An, Hai An, Hong Bang, Le Chan, Ngo Quyen, Duong Kinh, An Duong, Tien Lang, Cat Hai, Thuy Nguyen, Kien Thuy; awarded the First Prize to the Cultural - Information and Sports Centers of the districts: Do Son, An Lao, Vinh Bao, Bach Long Vi. On this occasion, the Department of Culture and Sports commended the City Information, Exhibition and Cinema Center for successfully organizing the City-wide Visual Propaganda Competition in 2024.
