Thanh Hoa possesses a rich and diverse system of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) with many heritages that have gone beyond the geographical limits and living space of a community, becoming national ICH. This is a source of pride and also a responsibility for localities and people to join hands to preserve, conserve and promote values so that the heritage can increasingly affirm its vitality in the community.

Affirming the vitality of intangible cultural heritage after being honored Muong people's magic singing team (Ngoc Lac).

Anyone who has ever been to Ngoc Lac, immersed in the songs and dances in the gongs and drums of the Pon Poong festival, or the soulful xuong giao duyen melodies, the joyful and exciting sac bua singing... will surely forever be attached to this land. When talking about sac bua singing, we cannot help but mention Meritorious Artist Pham Vu Vuong, Thuan Hoa village, Quang Trung commune. "Singing the spell is a unique form of folk culture of the Muong people, which has existed for a long time and has been passed down from generation to generation. If in the past, singing the spell was only performed in festivals and New Year's days, then after being honored as a national intangible cultural heritage, singing the spell seems to have become a movement, sung during holidays, or local artistic activities, weddings, birthday celebrations, longevity celebrations, New Year's Eve... Wherever the chanting team goes, the village is bustling, the atmosphere is joyful and refreshing. The chanting melodies are very diverse, such as the gate opening, land allocation, New Year greetings... both meeting the wishes, dreams, and feelings of listeners and viewers, and connecting the relationship between people, with nature and with the social environment. Currently, the chanting art team in the district is also attracting more and more members to participate, the age is gradually getting younger and they practice regularly to bring the lyrics and singing to enrich life. "The spiritual and cultural life of the people. Along with that, our artisan class also regularly teaches singing and charms to students at schools in the district to continue passing on the heritage to the next generation" - Meritorious Artisan Pham Vu Vuong, shared.

There are few lands like Ngoc Lac where just mentioning it is enough to make people think of a very diverse and valuable "storehouse" of intangible cultural heritage. Among them, we must mention the system of heritages that have been recognized as national intangible cultural heritages such as Pon Pong performance, the art of performing "xuong giao duyen", the art of performing folk songs, the art of singing "sac bua", social customs and ritual beliefs of the "nhang chap dao" (jumping festival) of the Dao people in the pants; social customs and beliefs of the Mo Muong (common to the Muong people in 11 mountainous districts in the province). Each heritage carries within itself the unique and distinctive features of the ethnic minorities living in the area. Then, when these heritages blend with the development of history, they will create a colorful picture of ethnic cultures. In recent years, in order for the heritages after being honored to spread more and more and affirm their vitality in the community, the district has implemented many flexible and creative ways.

Mr. Pham Dinh Cuong, Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Ngoc Lac district, shared: "In recent years, the cultural heritages after being honored have promoted their potential and strengths in enriching the spiritual and cultural life of local people. At the same time, they have made important contributions to preserving the unique cultural quintessence of the ethnic minority communities in the district. In addition, the national intangible cultural heritages are also important human resources contributing to promoting the development of tourism in the district, creating attractiveness for tourists to visit. Therefore, the district will continue to pay attention to creating more "performance space" for the heritages to spread more and more in the community life through organizing many cultural and artistic activities, bringing the heritage to perform everywhere both inside and outside the province. Pay attention to the lives of artisans, those who preserve and pass on the heritage to the next generation. At the same time, linking the promotion of the value of the heritages with tourism development".

In Thieu Hoa district, the traditional bronze casting craft of Che village (Tra Dong), Thieu Trung commune, has been recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage, affirming its value in community life. With skillful and talented hands and intelligence, the artisans here have created a variety of traditional bronze products such as bronze drums, statues of historical figures, incense burners, gongs, worship items, bronze paintings, bronze household items... The products are also increasingly sophisticated, so they have gradually gone beyond the bamboo fence of the village, not only reaching the domestic market, many products are also exported to the United States and some other countries through intermediary companies. Not only that, for many years now, the bronze casting craft village has also made an important contribution to promoting the development of the commune's tourism, attracting a large number of domestic and foreign tourists to visit and experience the production process. In addition, the artisans have also created many small, compact bronze products to serve tourists who come to buy souvenirs. Thereby, actively contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.

Up to now, in the province, many heritages have been included in the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritages, such as Xuan Pha play (Tho Xuan); Chieng play festival (Yen Dinh); Kin Chieng Boọc May festival (Nhu Thanh); Ngu tro Vien Khe folk performance (Dong Son); Cau Ngu festival (Hau Loc); Doc Cuoc temple festival (Sam Son city); Muong Ca Da festival (Quan Hoa); Mung temple festival (Nong Cong)... Each heritage is a "cultural work" "built" by the hands and minds of the working people and inspired by daily life. However, all have been tested over time, refined and cultivated through many generations, to go beyond the geographical limits and living space of a community and become the common property of the whole nation. In particular, after being honored, the work of preserving and promoting the values of heritages has been increasingly paid attention to by all levels, sectors, localities and people in a specific, clear, scientific and effective manner. In particular, attention is paid to bringing heritage into life, connecting heritage with tourism development. Policies on treating and honoring folk cultural artisans have also been well implemented... From there, contributing to the preservation and promotion of heritage values for future generations.
