Opening of Youth Camp to celebrate 50 years of Liberation of Quang Nam Province

The activity was organized by the Quang Nam Provincial Youth Union to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Quang Nam Province (March 24, 1975 - March 24, 2025), the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Provincial Party Committee (March 28, 1930 - March 28, 2025) and the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2025).

Attending the opening ceremony of the camp were Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Le Van Dung, representatives of the Da Nang City Youth Union and leaders of departments, branches and localities in the province.

In his opening speech, Mr. Hoang Van Thanh - Acting Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union said that the "Quang Nam Youth Confidently Entering the New Era of Development" Camp is a province-wide event, including 20 tent units from districts, towns, city unions and affiliated unions, with more than 1,000 campers participating.

The camp took place from March 20 to 22 with many meaningful activities such as journey to the source, participating in big game competitions, group dancing, folk dancing, artistic dancing, folk games, physical games, campfire activities...

In particular, during the camp program, the Provincial Youth Union will organize a forum "The Party is my reason for living" and honor exemplary young Party members in the province.

“The camp is an important event, an opportunity for the young generation to review the heroic traditions of their homeland, foster patriotism and national pride, and affirm the pioneering role of young people in the construction and development of Quang Nam today,” Mr. Thanh emphasized.

Previously, in the morning of the same day, Quang Nam Provincial Youth Union organized the Journey to the Source activity with the theme "Echoes of Victory" at 5 red addresses in the province including: Nuoc Oa Base Area (Tra Tan Commune, Bac Tra My), Phuoc Tra Revolutionary Relic Area (Song Tra Commune, Hiep Duc), Nuoc La Relic Area (Tra Mai Commune, Nam Tra My), Quang Da Special Party Committee Base Relic Area (Duy Son Commune, Duy Xuyen), Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee Base Relic Area (Tien Son Commune, Tien Phuoc).

After offering flowers, incense, visiting and learning about the red address, the youth from the localities gathered at the Monument of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers to pay their respects and participate in camp activities. In the afternoon of the same day, the units participating in the camp participated in a number of competitions such as bringing water to the source, group dancing and singing...
