On the morning of May 30, at the Provincial Multi-purpose Sports Gymnasium, the Young Pioneers and Children Newspaper, the Vietnam Football Federation in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the opening ceremony of the National Children's Football Tournament (U11) for the Nestlé Milo Cup 2023, Thai Binh qualifying round. Attending the event were comrade Tran Thi Bich Hang, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Comrade Tran Thi Bich Hang, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented flowers to congratulate the tournament.

Participating in the qualifying round of Thai Binh group are 380 athletes from 19 teams from the following provinces and cities: Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Cao Bang, Bac Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Thai Binh, Yen Bai and Tuyen Quang. With a round-robin format, the teams with the highest scores in each region are selected to compete in the final round.

The Organizing Committee presented flowers and souvenir flags to the teams competing in the qualifying round of Thai Binh group.

This year, the National Children's Football Tournament (U11) for the Nestlé Milo Cup 2023 has 50 children's football teams competing, from 40 provinces and cities across the country. The qualifying round is divided into 3 groups in 3 regions: Tay Ninh, Thai Binh and Quang Nam. The final round is held in Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province from July 24 to August 6, 2023 with the participation of 16 best children's football teams (U11).

U11 children's football teams compete in the Thai Binh qualifying round. Vietcombank Thai Binh team (blue uniform) had the first victory in the tournament.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, an exciting match took place between the U11 Vietcombank Thai Binh and U11 Yen Bai teams. With the enthusiastic cheers of the home audience, U11 Vietcombank Thai Binh won 4-1 in the first match.
