Quang Nam Provincial Military Command gives gifts and medical examinations to Lao people

(QNO) - On the occasion of Bunpimay New Year of Laos, from March 26-28, a delegation from the Quang Nam Provincial Military Command visited, presented gifts and provided medical examinations to people in border villages in Ka Lum district (Sekong province, Laos).

The Military Command of Quang Nam province presented nearly 400 gifts to people in Ta Vang, Keo, Bha'Le, A Ching, Pa Noon, and ABul villages of Ka Lum district.

The gifts include necessities such as rice, fish sauce, salt, MSG, instant noodles, cooking oil, dried fish... creating conditions for people here to celebrate the traditional Bunpimay New Year happily and warmly.

In addition, the medical team of CK42 Clinic - Provincial Military Command coordinated with Quang Nam Department of Health to organize medical examinations and provide free medicine for nearly 900 people. The total cost of the gift giving and medical examinations was nearly 400 million VND.

According to Colonel Nguyen Van Tam - Deputy Political Commissar of the Quang Nam Provincial Military Command, the activity aims to contribute to sharing difficulties and deprivation with the people of Lao ethnic groups; building a peaceful, friendly and developed Quang Nam - Sekong border.

At the same time, further tighten the special solidarity and friendship between the two Parties and States of Vietnam and Laos in general and the two provinces of Quang Nam and Sekong in particular "forever green, forever sustainable".
