Scholar Le Quy Don, as a child, was named Le Danh Phuong, with the pen name Doan Hau and the pen name Que Duong. He was born on August 2, 1726 in Dien Ha village, Son Nam Ha town (now Dong Phu village, Doc Lap commune, Hung Ha district). He passed the Huong exam as the top candidate at the age of 17, the Hoi exam as the top candidate at the age of 27, and the Dinh exam as the second highest candidate at the age of 27. After passing the exam, he was appointed as an official and held many important positions under the Le - Trinh dynasty. As the greatest scholar of our country in the 18th century, he made many great contributions to the country and the nation.
In a solemn atmosphere, the comrades in the working delegation and leaders of Hung Ha district respectfully offered incense and expressed their gratitude to the cultural celebrity and outstanding son of the homeland.
