On the morning of August 7, Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee coordinated with Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics to organize the opening of a training course to update knowledge for members of the Provincial Party Committee and cadres planned to be members of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 and 2025-2030 terms. Attending the opening ceremony were Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Phuc Lam - Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Associate Professor Dr. Doan Minh Huan - Secretary of Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee. Attending the class were 115 members and cadres planned to be members of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 and 2025-2030 terms. Also attending the class were leaders of local departments, branches, and sectors; units of Tran Phu Political School, Ha Tinh University.
Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board Nguyen Thi Thanh Hong approved the decisions to open classes.
During the 5-day period (August 7-11), the trainees will listen to 9 topics, including: Current world situation and Vietnam's foreign policy; Local governance in the context of digital transformation; Training and fostering cadres capable of working in the international environment; Suggesting issues related to attracting investment in Ha Tinh; Analytical and policy-making skills in the context of economic transformation; Basic issues on leadership, management and use of tools and arts in implementing leadership and management; Developing Vietnamese culture and people in the current period; Improving the leadership and governing capacity of the Party in new conditions; Consolidating and improving the quality of grassroots party organizations and party members in the spirit of the 13th National Party Congress.
After the course, students participate in writing a report and are awarded a certificate.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the training course, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Phuc Lam - Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics affirmed that in each period, our Party always pays attention to the work of training and fostering cadres. This is also an important content in the current new context to improve the capacity of cadres at all levels.

Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Phuc Lam hopes that students will focus on seriously absorbing the topics; frankly discuss and share the contents related to the practical work situation, thereby drawing lessons and applying them to the process of performing tasks at the agency or unit.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Trung Dung emphasized the important results that the province has overcome difficulties and achieved in the process of implementing tasks since the beginning of the term. To achieve such results, in addition to the attention and support of the Central Government, the high determination of the entire political system and the People, there are important contributions from the team of cadres at all levels from the province to the grassroots, comrades of the Provincial Party Committee and cadres planned to be members of the Provincial Party Committee.

Affirming the importance and necessity of studying political theory, updating and supplementing new knowledge, the Provincial Party Secretary emphasized the tasks that the class organizing committee and students need to focus on. In particular, the class organizing committee is required to do a good job of management, ensuring that the class takes place seriously and with quality. After the class, draw experience from the organization and content of the topics to suit the audience and reality; evaluate the results objectively and practically, avoiding formalities to draw experience from organizing similar classes in the future.
The trainees raised their self-awareness and set good examples for leaders and managers; strictly followed classroom rules, fully participated in the program, focused on studying documents, actively participated in discussions, wrote quality reports, and creatively applied the acquired knowledge to effectively serve their work.

The Provincial Party Secretary also hopes that the lecturers will guide students in the approach and ways to solve difficulties and problems arising in practice, especially those issues that are close to the province's situation.
Agencies, units and localities with cadres attending training must create conditions for trainees to participate in full and serious training; at the same time, must regularly pay attention to training and fostering the cadre team.
The Provincial Party Secretary also sincerely thanked the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics for always supporting Ha Tinh in training, fostering cadres and political theory work.
