Not only Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, many OCOP products of provinces and cities also attract people and tourists. We can mention products with strong cultural characteristics of the locality such as grapes, apples, seaweed, salt of Ninh Thuan province, Tay Ninh rice paper, brocade of Lam Dong... Each product when tourists enjoy or visit, identify through the packaging, immediately remind them of that region like a subconscious. Mr. Le Quoc Nam, Director of Binh Minh Food Technology Company (Ninh Thuan province) specializing in producing seaweed products, said that Ninh Thuan is a sunny and sandy region, but it is this climate that produces many agricultural products that when mentioned, people immediately remember this land such as grapes, apples, salt, seaweed... Through this event, Ninh Thuan wants to introduce to the people of Ba Ria - Vung Tau and tourists the typical OCOP products of Ninh Thuan. Enterprises hope that there will be more programs like this in the province and the whole country to create conditions for OCOP products to become closer to consumers. INCREASING CONNECTIONS AND LINKS As a locality that attracts a large number of tourists with more than 13 million visits each year, OCOP products of Ba Ria - Vung Tau have a distinct advantage in on-site export compared to other localities. To bring OCOP products closer to tourists, OCOP product owners also pay great attention to promoting on-site products.

As a regular participant in promotional activities, Mr. Lam Quang Long, owner of Ba Long deer farm (Chau Duc district) said that the province's OCOP products when participating in promotional activities and events like this are always favored by customers. For example, this time Ba Long deer farm brought 2 OCOP products: deer antlers soaked in honey and deer antlers wine. "When I first started displaying the products, many customers came to visit and learn about them and I also sold 6-10 products. This is a very good opportunity to connect and expand the market for businesses," said Mr. Lam Quang Long. Ba Ria - Vung Tau's OCOP products all focus on production according to ISO, VietGAP, food safety and hygiene standards, achieving HACCP, VietGAP certification, product traceability, packaging, and diverse designs. Input material areas are concentrated in rural areas. The types of OCOP products are also mainly concentrated in the group of food, medicinal herbs, beverages, handicrafts, etc., so they are easy to put into the supply chain for tourism. Therefore, in many localities, businesses in the province have formed many connection models, exploiting the strengths of the OCOP program and typical rural industrial products to create more sightseeing, experience and shopping spots for tourists. For example, Chau Duc district organizes and maintains 3 points of display and sale of OCOP products in Binh Ba commune, Suoi Rao and Ngai Giao town; organizes an agricultural fair to connect supply and demand. Long Dien district organizes a House to introduce and display OCOP products, typical rural industrial products at the Long Dien District Cultural - Sports - Tourism Center (Long Phuong Hamlet, Long Dien Town, Long Dien District) and an OCOP product display point at the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. In the strategy of bringing OCOP products closer to tourists, Ba Ria - Vung Tau continues to promote communication and promotion of OCOP products. In addition to mobilizing tourism service businesses to bring OCOP products into tourism, 100% of the province's OCOP products have been listed on the market.
