Connecting technology supply and demand between Vietnamese and Japanese enterprises
(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the afternoon of October 2, the Department of Science and Technology of the city organized a Technology Supply and Demand Connection Session between Vietnamese and Japanese enterprises. The Director of the Department of Science and Technology chaired the Connection Session. Attending the session were Mr. Ono Hirokazu, Chairman of the Kitakyushu International Trade Association (Chairman of Dhowa Technos Co., Ltd.). Representatives of more than 50 enterprises in the city and neighboring provinces and cities attended.
At the Connection Session, there were 6 Japanese enterprises operating in the fields of: port automation; energy; construction; environmental treatment... to apply in production and life participating in the Connection Session.
Also at the Connection Session, representatives of the City Department of Science and Technology disseminated the Law on Technology Transfer and the state management function of the Department of Science and Technology on technology transfer .
Speaking at the Connection Session, Director of the City Department of Science and Technology Tran Quang Tuan emphasized: The Connection Session is organized to contribute to supporting Vietnamese enterprises in accessing, innovating, investing, and decoding technology; improving competitiveness to help enterprises participate more deeply in the global production and supply chain; having the opportunity to become processing units, cooperating in joint ventures with Japanese partners; at the same time realizing and deepening the friendly cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Japan in general, between Hai Phong and Kitakyushu in particular.
