iPhone 16 Pro is smart but important features cannot be used in Vietnam

(Dan Tri) - The main strength of the iPhone 16 series is Apple Intelligence, artificial intelligence (AI) that the American technology giant promises to create a breakthrough, but users in Vietnam still have to wait.
With Apple Intelligence equipped on iPhone 16, users can command AI to edit (correct errors, rewrite the style) of an email, identify inappropriate (unsightly) elements and objects in a photo to remove, create a souvenir movie in the user's collection. Apple Intelligence has not been deployed in Vietnam, so what outstanding features has Apple equipped on the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max to attract Vietnamese users? First, the factor that we can easily see most is the large screen size and better battery capacity. Larger screen Apple has finally reduced the screen bezel size on the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max, both versions have increased length by 3mm and 4mm respectively, width increased by 1mm, thickness is 8.25mm (compared to the previous generation). iPhone 16 Pro is equipped with a 6.3-inch OLED technology screen, while the Pro Max version is 6.9 inches. The changes in size and brightness on the iPhone 16 Pro series are not large, but if users are experiencing previous generations, they will see a slight difference. Design scores The design of the iPhone 16 Pro duo is still a success, the colors bring luxury, especially the new color - desert titanium. The larger shape than the previous generation, along with straight edges that help users hold it firmly, the titanium frame makes the phone light and shock-resistant. Notably, the iPhone 16 series has been upgraded by Apple with Ceramic Shield protective glass that is 50% stronger than the previous generation, providing good dust resistance and limiting screen breakage or scratches. This upgrade also helps the iPhone 16 series withstand 30 minutes of water immersion at a maximum depth of 6 meters. The iPhone 16 Pro/Pro Max has been overcome by the American technology giant to temporarily heat up the iPhone 15 Pro (when charging the battery). This is thanks to Apple equipping an aluminum frame structure and optimizing the location of components. This product line has also improved heat dissipation, the battery is easy to repair and disassembling the device has also become simpler. Upgraded camera Upgrading image quality on new products is something that many phone manufacturers often do, this year Apple has improved the camera on the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max. This is a haptic feedback button that allows users to open the camera with just one click and take a photo with a double tap. If you double-tap without lifting your finger, the camera will display the settings mode, such as exposure, depth, zoom or color tone selection... However, this new feature button is difficult for users with small hands when using the case, they will not be able to easily perform camera tasks from the control button, or for left-handed people, they will also feel redundant with Apple's additional equipment. The American technology giant has increased the ability to record videos at 4K/120 frames per second, as well as the feature of mixing audio after recording, better filtering of environmental noise on the iPhone 16 Pro line. If the user is a YouTuber or passionate about filming, the video call feature (focusing on voice) or studio sound will help create satisfying videos. Larger battery capacity Updates from Apple have reduced the battery life of the iPhone 15 Pro and the American manufacturer has improved the battery for the new generation. The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max have larger battery capacities, testing shows that these two versions have a battery life lasting more than a day, the battery power does not drop significantly at the end of the day. This is a strong point and the reason why many Vietnamese people choose the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max. New generation Wi-Fi 7 The iPhone 16 series are the first Apple smartphones to offer compatibility with Wi-Fi 7, or 802.11be for short. This new standard promises speeds (in theory) up to 2.4 times faster than Wi-Fi 6E. Les Numériques conducted a test, the results showed that the iPhone 16 Pro achieved a speed of 1,700 Mbit/s with Wi-Fi 7, while the iPhone 15 Pro achieved a speed of 1,600 Mbit/s with Wi-Fi 6E. 128GB capacity is not commensurate with the Pro version In Vietnam, the 128GB iPhone 16 Pro has a starting price of 28.99 million VND, for a high-end Apple product and at the above price, 128GB memory is really not commensurate - especially when Apple has equipped 4K video recording technology on the iPhone 16 Pro versions. It can be seen that the iPhone 16 Pro/Pro Max has been upgraded in terms of photo quality, video, screen, and larger battery capacity. It meets all the requirements of a smartphone, but it remains to be seen who it is really aimed at. Many users are waiting for Apple's promise of AI intelligence, it is like a bet on an uncertain future. Apple plans to support Vietnamese on Apple Intelligent in 2025, but there is no evidence to be sure of that.
