Ea Kar District People's Committee said that as of September 30, the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development for Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas (referred to as Program 1719) implemented in the district had disbursed nearly 50 billion VND, accounting for 43.8% of the total investment capital of the Program in 2023.
Of which, the disbursed career capital was over 6.5 billion VND (19.21% of capital); the disbursed development investment capital was over 43.4 billion VND (54.24% of capital).

It is known that the district is implementing 9/10 projects under Program 1719, with a total implementation cost in 2023 of nearly 114 billion VND, of which the career capital (carried over from 2022 and 2023) is nearly 34 billion VND; development investment capital is over 80 billion VND.
To ensure 100% disbursement of capital under Program 1719 in 2023, the People's Committee of Ea Kar district directed the People's Committees of communes receiving investment from the program to carry out procedures to implement component projects in accordance with the instructions of the Ethnic Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Ethnic Committee.
At the same time, effectively implement Resolution No. 03/NQ-HDND dated January 28, 2022 of the District People's Council on approving the Socio-Economic Development Plan for Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas in Ea Kar District for the period 2021 - 2025; organize training, fostering and coaching for grassroots cadres and communities, prestigious people among ethnic minorities.
Strengthen the role of Party committees, authorities and organizations in mobilizing ethnic minorities to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on ethnic issues; mobilizing ethnic minorities to enthusiastically develop the economy, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, build a cultural life, overcome the mentality of waiting for and relying on the State; do a good job of grasping the grassroots situation, pressing issues and legitimate thoughts and aspirations of ethnic minorities in the district.
In addition, it is recommended that provincial agencies conduct training and provide full guidance documents for localities to implement some content that is still stuck and has not been implemented.
