This year, Hanoi National University of Education High School for the Gifted has about 6,100 candidates taking the exam to win 315 places in 7 specialized classes.
Candidates taking the entrance exam must take three tests including Math, Literature for all candidates and specialized subjects corresponding to each specialized class (IT majors only take Math). Candidates will only be considered for admission if they take all three tests, do not violate regulations and do not score 2 points or lower in any subject.
The admission score is the sum of the three subject scores, in which the specialized subject is multiplied by a factor of two. The University of Education High School for the Gifted does not add priority points to any candidate. The results will be announced before July 31.
