Steering Committee Meeting on Science, Technology Development, Innovation and Digital Transformation

(CTTĐTBP) - On the afternoon of February 28, the Steering Committee for Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation of Binh Phuoc province held its first meeting. Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ton Ngoc Hanh, Head of the Steering Committee chaired the meeting.

Members of the Steering Committee on Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Development of Binh Phuoc Province attended the meeting.

The meeting approved the following drafts: Action Program of the Provincial Party Executive Committee to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; decision to promulgate the Regulation on organization and operation of the Steering Committee; announcement of assignment of tasks to members of the Steering Committee; decision to establish a Steering Committee Support Team.

Steering Committee members discuss and contribute ideas

With a high sense of responsibility, the members of the Steering Committee discussed and contributed ideas, aiming to complete the drafts as well as effectively implement the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in the province. Basically, the members attending the meeting agreed with the contents of the consultation and proposals of the Department of Science and Technology - the standing agency of the Steering Committee and supplemented and contributed some more contents for the implementation in the coming time to be more strict and clear.

Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ton Ngoc Hanh delivered a concluding speech at the meeting.

Concluding the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Ton Ngoc Hanh requested the standing agency of the Steering Committee to absorb the opinions of the members to edit, complete and officially issue the documents. In addition, Provincial Party Secretary Ton Ngoc Hanh emphasized: In each working position of cadres and party members from the grassroots to the provincial level, there must be a consistent awareness and a mindset to contribute ideas and propose for the fields of science and technology application, innovation and digital transformation. Human resources with the capacity to research and invest in intellectual property registration and patent registration are very important. Therefore, we will continue to promote with solutions as well as create an environment for everyone to be interested and have positive energy in scientific research in all fields./.
