The exhibition consists of 3 parts. Part 1 with the theme "President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace - The place associated with Uncle Ho in 79 springs", includes: images and documents about the life and work of President Ho Chi Minh at the Presidential Palace from 1954 to 1969. This is where he and the Party Central Committee and the Government led the country through challenging historical periods, and welcomed hundreds of domestic and international delegations, clearly depicting Ho Chi Minh's diplomatic style - erudite, sincere and humane.
Part 2 is entitled "Preservation and promotion of the value of the Relic Site from 1969 to 1992", including images and documents. After President Ho Chi Minh passed away, the Relic Site was preserved in its original state with the dedication of the officers of Agency 41, who served Uncle Ho during his lifetime. The relics and artifacts, from the stilt house to daily memorabilia, are all carefully preserved, becoming a place to gather and spread his ideological and moral values.
Part 3 is themed "Conservation and promotion of the value of the Relic Site from 1992 to present", including images and documents about the decision to recognize the Relic Site as a special national relic site in the first phase of the country (phase 1, 2009). The Relic Site has constantly improved and expanded its conservation activities. Methods of propaganda and promotion have been diversified, helping the image of the Relic Site spread widely in the country and internationally. The Relic Site has welcomed nearly 90 million visitors, becoming a particularly attractive destination, bringing deep impressions about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh.
In her opening speech, Ms. Le Thi Phuong, Director of the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace, said that the exhibition is a special activity, a "highlight" in the series of key activities commemorating the 55th anniversary of Uncle Ho's passing, as well as 55 years of preserving and promoting the value of the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace. With more than 240 documents, the exhibition introduces to the public images and documents about the daily life and work of President Ho Chi Minh at the Presidential Palace from 1954 to 1969; introducing the work of preserving and promoting the value of the Relic Site in two stages from 1969 to 1992 and from 1992 to the present.
The opening of the exhibition is not only an opportunity to remember Uncle Ho, the years he lived and worked at the Presidential Palace, but also an opportunity to look back at the achievements made over the long journey, to learn valuable experiences to continue to preserve, maintain and promote the best value of the special national relic - the first relic in the system of memorial relics about President Ho Chi Minh, Ms. Le Thi Phuong emphasized.
On this occasion, the Relic Site organized many meaningful educational and propaganda activities, deepening and enriching the value and status of the special national relic site for the public. These include the "Explainer at the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace" contest and the "Beauty of the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace" photography contest, which have just been awarded prizes. The exhibition also displays and introduces to visitors the high-prize winning photos and high-quality photos from the recent photo contest on "The Beauty of the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace".
In particular, within the framework of the exhibition, the painting exhibition with the theme "Shine Forever Here" introduces to the public the paintings painted in the grounds of the Relic Site. The program is organized by the Embassy of Spain, the Cesvantes Chamber and the Hanoi Watercolor Artists Club, in coordination with the Relic Site. Each work on display is the author's research and creativity, expressing the real beauty of the Relic Site, carrying a message of respect, love and gratitude from painters, artists, art lovers at home and abroad to President Ho Chi Minh and the place where he spent many memories during the last 15 years of his life.
"This exhibition is not only an opportunity for us to show our gratitude, but also an occasion to affirm our efforts and determination to continue preserving and promoting the precious heritage values of President Ho Chi Minh at the Presidential Palace," Ms. Le Thi Phuong shared./.
