The world's largest international airline opens flights to Da Nang

(Fatherland) - From June 2, the world's largest airline - Emirates, will operate flights connecting Middle Eastern countries, major cities in Europe and the US to Da Nang, with a frequency of 4 flights per week.


According to the latest information on March 3, Emirates airline announced that it will increase its presence in Asia by opening 4 weekly flights to Da Nang (Vietnam) and 3 weekly flights to Siem Reap (Cambodia), via a transit point in Bangkok (Thailand).

Da Nang is the third destination in Vietnam that Emirates has chosen to operate flights to, after Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Round-trip flights to Da Nang will be operated every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, using a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft with two classes, with 35 seats in Business Class and 368 seats in Economy Class.

Emirates will operate four weekly flights to Da Nang from June 2, 2025.

Adnan Kazim, Emirates Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, said: "Vietnam holds a strategic position in Emirates' Southeast Asia network. The expansion of operations to Da Nang as a third destination in Vietnam comes at an opportune time, following the signing of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between the UAE and Vietnam. We are confident that this new route will enhance bilateral trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. We would like to thank our local partners and Da Nang International Airport for their support."

According to Emirates, the flight schedules will be optimized to easily transport passengers from major European cities such as London, Paris, Amsterdam, Manchester, Milan, Rome or major cities in the US to Da Nang. In particular, Emirates' opening of flights to Da Nang will also easily connect wealthy customers from the Middle East to the Han River city.

According to the schedule announced by the airline, flight EK370 will depart from Dubai at 9:00 a.m. (local time) and arrive in Bangkok (Thailand) at 6:25 p.m. (local time). Then, depart from Bangkok at 8:10 p.m. (local time) and land in Da Nang at 9:50 p.m. (local time). In the opposite direction, flight EK371 will leave Da Nang at 11:30 p.m. to arrive in Bangkok at 1:10 a.m. (local time), then depart at 3:40 a.m. (local time) to land in Dubai at 6:50 a.m. (local time).

Travellers flying Emirates will enjoy world-class inflight experiences, with regionally inspired cuisine and premium beverages served in all classes. The airline’s award-winning inflight entertainment system offers an in-flight cinema with over 6,500 channels of movies, TV shows, music, podcasts and games in over 40 languages.

"Emirates - a 5-star airline with a global brand and quality - opening a direct flight to Da Nang will open up opportunities to promote the city to 150 countries and territories. This will also open up opportunities to attract and serve tourists, while also preparing conditions for connectivity, trade and business when Da Nang operates as an international financial center and free trade zone," said Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of the Da Nang Department of Tourism, in response to this opportunity.

These destinations are preparing tourism products and unique shows to be ready to serve tourists from diverse markets.
