On the morning of March 4, the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army organized a joint parade and march of 4 groups in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

At the National Military Training Center 4, Hanoi (cluster 1), General Nguyen Tan Cuong, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Deputy Minister of National Defense - attended, encouraged and inspected the formation of the forces.
This is the first joint training with 4 groups including forces training at National Military Training Center 4, Military Region 5, Military Region 7 and Army Corps 34, with a total of about 5,500 people from the blocs representing forces, armies and military branches nationwide participating in the parade.
According to information from the Ministry of National Defense, the parade groups this time were selected, supplemented, and trained on the basis of the forces serving the parade and march for the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory.
Although the weather conditions in the regions were not favorable, with determination and pride, the forces still persevered in training, overcoming difficulties, meeting the criteria of "Correct, even, strong, beautiful, unified", creating a heroic and solemn atmosphere.
On behalf of the Ministry of National Defense, General Nguyen Tan Cuong praised the sense of responsibility of the officers and soldiers directly participating in the training as well as the forces serving the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.
Mr. Cuong said that there is not much time left, only 56 days and nights, including holidays, travel days from North to South, settling down... requiring all agencies, units, and forces to carry out the proposed contents well, overcome all difficulties, and use all time to organize training.
"Every day, from now until the training session at the official ceremony area, the units need to have a very detailed training plan based on the weak points that have been given.
We all feel honored and proud to participate in the parade and marching duties in this celebration.
On that basis, we see our responsibility as well as demonstrate the army's discipline and strength after 50 years of completely liberating the South and unifying the country," Mr. Cuong emphasized.

According to General Nguyen Tan Cuong, the forces will move from North to South by train, so it is necessary to develop a detailed plan, in which logistics must be ensured for the forces from food to accommodation.
Mr. Cuong also noted that the Air Defense - Air Force needs to research, calculate, plan to build a welcome flight scenario and organize training to ensure the highest safety.

As planned, the parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification will take place on the morning of April 30, on Le Duan Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
On this day, there will be a welcome flight by the Vietnam Air Force, with helicopters reenacting the flag-raising ceremony and Su-30MK2 fighter jets dropping heat traps over the city's sky.
