On February 21, the Provincial Police Department held a conference to announce the decision of the Provincial Police Director on retirement benefits for department-level leaders and equivalents. Attending and directing the conference were Colonel Vu Hong Quang, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department; members of the Provincial Police Department's Board of Directors; leaders and officers and soldiers of functional departments under the Provincial Police Department.

During this period, 24 department and district leaders were announced to retire, including: 1 District Police Chief, 10 department heads and 13 deputy department heads. Of these, 14 comrades have less than 30 months of service left, 10 comrades have between 30 and 60 months of service left, with the longest service period being 57 months and the shortest being 13 months. Notably, 6 comrades have dedicated over 40 years to the People's Public Security force.
The retirement decision was implemented according to the Project of the Ministry of Public Security on "Continuing to arrange and streamline the organization of the local police apparatus to operate effectively and efficiently, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new period" and preparing personnel for the Party Congresses at all levels in the provincial police.
Speaking at the conference, the Director of the Provincial Police acknowledged the achievements and contributions of the leaders of the departments and districts during their work, making great contributions to the development of the Cao Bang Provincial Police as well as the People's Police force. After being informed of the policies of the Party, the State and the Ministry of Public Security, the comrades voluntarily wrote applications for early retirement, demonstrating their sense of responsibility, exemplary behavior and dedication in the work of streamlining the industry's apparatus. The Provincial Police Board of Directors hopes that even though they have retired, the comrades will continue to contribute valuable experience and participate in activities to protect security and order in the locality.
The implementation of the policy of streamlining the apparatus of the Ministry of Public Security is an important step to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the People's Public Security force in the new situation. In the coming time, Cao Bang Provincial Public Security will continue to carry out well the work of political and ideological education, helping officers and soldiers feel secure in their work and ready to take on new tasks, excellently completing all tasks assigned by the Party and the People.
