According to the announcement of Hanoi National University of Education 2, in addition to the plan to organize a separate exam for university admission, in 2025, the school will continue to consider admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam of Hanoi National University, Hanoi National University of Education, Ho Chi Minh City National University; Ho Chi Minh City National University of Education.

Thus, in the 2025 university entrance exam, Hanoi National University of Education 2 applies 4 admission methods including: Admission based on the results of separate exams; Direct admission and priority for direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; considering high school graduation exam results; considering high school transcripts.

For the majors of preschool education, physical education, and sports management, the school uses the above admission methods. However, the admission combinations will use the results of the aptitude test organized by the school.

The school does not use the aptitude test results of other higher education institutions. This is something that candidates who are studying in grade 12 and intend to register for these majors at Pedagogical University 2 need to pay attention to in order to be proactive in reviewing and preparing for registration.

In the 2024 enrollment period, the total enrollment target of Hanoi National University of Education 2 is more than 3,400 students. The admission methods applied by the school are: Direct admission and priority admission; considering high school graduation exam results; considering high school transcripts; admission based on separate exam results; combining entrance exams and admission (applicable to preschool education, physical education, and sports management).

In 2024, the benchmark score for pedagogy majors at many schools will continue to increase, almost reaching 30 points (on a 30-point scale).

Some schools have not yet recruited enough students for the first round, so they are considering additional recruitment. In this round, the education group also leads with a benchmark score of nearly 29 points.
