Head coach of U22 Vietnam pointed out areas for improvement after draw with Uzbekistan

U22 Vietnam has had quite impressive results at the CFA Team China 2025 friendly tournament in China. After drawing 1-1 with U22 Korea, U22 Vietnam continued to have a goalless draw with strong opponent U22 Uzbekistan.

U22 Vietnam had two draws against Korea and Uzbekistan.

With 2 points, U22 Vietnam can completely compete for the championship if they win against host U22 China in the final match.

Although satisfied with the performance of his players, coach Dinh Hong Vinh still pointed out the areas that need improvement for U22 Vietnam: “In the match against U22 Korea, the team played resiliently and at times caused difficulties for the opponent. In the match against U22 Uzbekistan, the players made adjustments, especially in the defensive organization, helping us keep a clean sheet. However, there are still some areas that need improvement, especially in taking advantage of opportunities in counter-attack situations.”

Coach Dinh Hong Vinh highly appreciated the concentration and good distance maintenance of the U22 Vietnam players. This strategist assessed that this match was very useful for young players to hone their skills when facing strong teams in Asia.
