On the afternoon of March 25, the final match of 3-cushion carom billiards HBSF Tour 1 took place between two brothers, Nguyen Tran Thanh Tu and Nguyen Tran Thanh Tao.

The groom was crowned champion.

On the way to the championship match, both of them overcame very strong players. In the semi-finals, Thanh Tao unexpectedly defeated Vietnam's number 1 player Tran Quyet Chien with a thrilling score of 50-48 after 35 turns.

Meanwhile, Thanh Tu defeated former world champion Bao Phuong Vinh 50-33 after 20 rounds to meet his younger brother in the final.

The competition between people from the same house for the championship was exciting and dramatic.

With accurate shots, including a series of 8 points, Thanh Tao quickly took the lead 23-9. Thanh Tu chased fiercely, gradually narrowing the gap before tying the score at 24-24. However, Thanh Tao still had the advantage when leading 26-24 after the first half.

After an exciting score chase in the second half, Thanh Tao took the lead 49-37. However, even though they were only 1 point away from the championship, Thanh Tao continued to make inaccurate shots. Taking advantage of the opportunity, Thanh Tu gradually reduced the gap before hitting a 7-pointer to win 50-49 after 37 shots.

A very special detail is that Thanh Tu just got married 2 days ago. The championship is a precious gift for this groom.

With the championship, Thanh Tu received the cup and 50 million VND in prize money. Nguyen Tran Thanh Tao received 20 million VND for the runner-up position. The two third-place players, Tran Quyet Chien and Bao Phuong Vinh, received 10 million VND. The top 5-8 players received 5 million VND and the players ranked 9-16 received 2 million VND.

Yen Nhi won the women's 3-band championship

In the final match of the women's 3-cushion event, Nguyen Hoang Yen Nhi won the championship after an overwhelming 30-11 victory after 29 innings against Nguyen Duc Yen Sinh, including 2 series of 8 points and 9 points.

For winning the championship, Nguyen Hoang Yen Nhi received 10 million VND. Runner-up Nguyen Duc Yen Sinh received 5 million VND. Nguyen Le Lien Quynh and Luong Thi Thom, who tied for third place, received 2 million VND.

In the men's 9-ball pool event, the final match was between Ngo Hong Thang and Vo Van Tien. Entering the final match, the two players created an exciting score chase. When the score was 8-8, Hong Thang showed his mettle with 3 consecutive wins to win the final match 11-8.

With the championship, Ngo Hong Thang received 50 million VND in prize money and the cup. Runner-up Vo Van Tien received 20 million VND, the two third-place players Le Van Quyen and Ho Minh Hanh received 10 million VND, the top 8 players received 3 million VND and the players ranked 9-16 received 1 million VND.

In the women's 9-ball pool event, Duong Yen Vi won the championship after defeating Huynh Thi Ngoc Huyen 7-4. This championship helped Duong Yen Vi receive 10 million VND and the cup, second-place player Huynh Thi Ngoc Huyen received 5 million VND, 2 players Nguyen Bich Tram and Tran Tu Tran both received 2 million VND and the top 8 players received 1 million VND.

Thus, after 7 days of exciting competition, HBSF Tour 1 MIN Table Cup 2025 has ended successfully. HBSF Tour 2 is scheduled to take place from July 14 to 20.
