“Once the Glazers decide who to sell to, it takes another 8-12 weeks to go through the approval process before the deal is officially approved.
That means that when Erik ten Hag's side begin their new campaign against Wolves at Old Trafford on August 14, the Glazers, who are unpopular with the majority of United fans, could still be in control of the club on paper.
