The effectiveness of BSR's creative labor emulation movements

(Baoquangngai.vn) - In recent years, Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) has launched many exciting emulation movements among its staff and workers, resulting in many research projects, solutions, initiatives, and technical improvements applied in practice to optimize production, bringing positive results to the company.

BSR Deputy General Director Pham Minh Nghia said that in the period of 2020 - 2025, BSR has organized many exciting and outstanding emulation movements such as: Emulation movement to study and follow the moral example of Ho Chi Minh; Emulation movement for 51 days and nights to complete the 4th overall maintenance of Dung Quat Oil Refinery; Emulation movement for 48 days and nights to complete the 5th overall maintenance of Dung Quat Oil Refinery.

BSR leaders rewarded collectives and individuals at the exemplary conference for the period 2020 - 2025.

In which the emulation movement "Creative labor, good labor, promoting initiatives, technical improvements, rationalizing production" is one of the spearheads of the patriotic emulation movement, is the driving force to promote production, through the emulation movement of creative labor, many research works, solutions, initiatives, technical improvements have appeared and been applied in practice to optimize production, bringing positive effects to the company.

In addition, BSR also regularly organizes and launches many specialized programs such as: Building and developing corporate culture; Creative space; SAO, Kaizen, 5S programs; occupational safety and hygiene and fire prevention, etc.

“These emulation movements have created a comprehensive picture of patriotism at BSR, spreading widely, attracting enthusiastic participation from workers, while ensuring substance, practicality and sustainability. These programs act as catalysts, stirring up vitality, creating solidarity and consensus among BSR workers and contractors. All movements aim at the common goal: Ensuring the Plant operates safely, stably and effectively; creating new motivation, renewing old motivation, transforming the business model and developing BSR sustainably”, affirmed BSR Deputy General Director Pham Minh Nghia.

Over the past 5 years, the company has recorded a total of 135 initiatives; of which 89 initiatives were recognized by the company, 16 initiatives were honored by the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, 17 initiatives were honored by Quang Ngai province and 13 initiatives were recognized by the State.

These initiatives not only contribute to improving labor productivity but also optimize the production process, bringing clear efficiency to BSR. Over the past 5 years, BSR in general and individual employees in particular have been recognized by the Party, State, Government, ministries, central agencies, Quang Ngai province, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group and the Company with many noble awards such as: State Prize for Science and Technology, Government Emulation Flag, Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister, Emulation Flag and Certificate of Merit from ministries and agencies; Emulation Flag and Certificate of Merit from Quang Ngai province, Emulation Flag and Certificate of Merit from Vietnam Oil and Gas Group,...

On February 27, BSR officially reached the milestone of 50 million safe work hours, without any lost-day accidents. BSR's journey of safety, without any lost-day accidents, began on June 2, 2014. And that journey is not only about numbers, but also a testament to the tireless efforts, sense of responsibility and determination of the collective of workers. Each work hour is a story, an experience, a valuable lesson, contributing to the overall success of BSR.
