Striving to have Kien Giang bird's nest products officially exported by 2025

The Department of Industry and Trade of Kien Giang province organized a working session on the situation of raising, producing and consuming bird's nests in Kien Giang province.

At the meeting, delegates discussed the situation of raising, producing and consuming bird's nests; about traceability, techniques for building bird's nest houses, and determining farming area codes. At the same time, they discussed solutions to promote sustainable development of bird's nest raising and bird's nest production models in the province; aiming to develop diverse products from bird's nests, increase the value of bird's nests and aim to export bird's nests officially.

Leaders of Thuan An Import-Export Development Investment Joint Stock Company (a unit in Ho Chi Minh City exporting bird's nests to China) surveyed the production facility of Fanza Bird's Nest Limited Liability Company (Ha Tien City).

Speaking at the meeting, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Kien Giang province Truong Van Minh said that Kien Giang has great potential from the bird's nest farming industry, so it is necessary to aim to build a collective brand of Kien Giang bird's nest to increase the value of bird's nests. At the same time, strive to have Kien Giang bird's nest products officially exported by 2025.
