Galaxy S25 repair costs revealed

- About screen replacement cost:

The Galaxy S25 screen costs INR 6,150 (about VND 1.85 million) to replace, while the Galaxy S24 costs INR 8,600 (about VND 2.58 million).

The Galaxy S25+ screen costs INR 8,400 (about VND 2.52 million) to replace, while the Galaxy S24+ costs INR 8,400 (about VND 3.76 million).

Similarly, the S25 Ultra's screen costs just INR 11,950 to replace, while the S24 Ultra's is INR 16,610.

Samsung’s continued use of the same display panel across all three Galaxy S25 models could be a factor in helping the company save costs and simplify the repair process. However, the cost of replacing the back glass is slightly higher, suggesting that the price reduction on the display is mainly due to the panel, not the protective glass material.

- Motherboard replacement cost:

In contrast to the cost of replacing the screen, the cost of replacing the motherboard increases by more than 4000 INR (about 1.2 million VND).

Accordingly, Galaxy S25 will cost from 27,380 - 29,760 INR while S24 will only cost from 23,130 - 25,630 INR

S25+ will cost from 28,630 - 31,970 INR and S24+ will cost from 28,510- 31,270 INR

S25 Ultra users will have to spend from 37,150- 46,060 while S24 Ultra users will only have to spend from 32,380- 35,670 INR.

The reason given may be due to the use of the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.

- Battery replacement cost:

Battery replacement costs for all three Galaxy S25 models are also higher than their predecessors, despite the same internal capacity and design.

Accordingly, to replace the battery for the S25 Series, users will have to spend 2,470; 2,410 and 2,440 INR respectively for the products while the S24 series only costs 2,280; 2,150 and 1,950 INR.

- Cost of replacing the midframe:

For the S25 and S25+ models, the replacement cost will increase to INR 3,610 and INR 3,460 respectively, while the S24 and S24+ will cost only INR 2,690 and INR 3,170.

However, the redesigned mid-frame on the S25 Ultra is priced lower than the S24 Ultra (6,470 vs 7,290 INR).
