On March 7, Vietnam Waste Treatment Company Limited (VWS) brought unexpected joy to female employees and workers working at the company. From early morning, representatives of VWS Company's leadership went to each workshop to bring breakfast and drinks to the workers there.

At noon, female workers and employees were invited to the office to cut the cake to celebrate International Women's Day, March 8, and receive lucky money. The company's board of directors especially expressed their gratitude and best wishes to the women.

Talking about the unexpected joy of enjoying cake and receiving lucky money on March 8, Ms. Chau Thi Thao (62 years old) excitedly said: "It's been a long time since the company had the opportunity to organize March 8 like this for female workers, everyone is happy and surprised."

Ms. Thao has been with VWS Company since its inception. For nearly 20 years, Ms. Thao has had no intention of finding a new job. Revealing the reason, the female worker confided: "In addition to a stable salary and a very good welfare regime, VWS Company is like my second family. Every year, the company organizes health check-ups, sends doctors to the workplace to do ultrasounds and tests, so the workers feel very secure. Currently, there are 3 people in my family working at VWS Company."

Ms. Phung Thi Tuyet said that during her 4 years of working, every holiday and Tet, VWS Company always gave gifts, visited and encouraged the workers. Thanks to that, everyone always felt comfortable, happy and excited about their work.

Expressing her joy at receiving gifts and lucky money on March 8, Ms. Pham Thi Phe (54 years old) confided: "During the 7 years working at VWS Company, I always feel grateful for the treatment I have received. Today I am very happy, holding the gift in my hand feels very warm, I will try to be dedicated to my work, to complete the work in the most effective way".

VWS Company's Trade Union Chairman Nguyen Thanh Hung said that during the recent Lunar New Year 2024, the company received garbage throughout the year to ensure the cleanliness of Ho Chi Minh City, so it received a certificate of merit from the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee. The VWS Company's Trade Union Executive Committee combined the rewards from the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and the trade union fund to buy food and drinks to give directly to employees and workers working at the company, to encourage and energize employees and workers to continue their work.

"In the near future, the grassroots union will propose to the VWS Board of Directors to select employees with seniority and excellent achievements to organize overseas trips for them to encourage better working spirit," said Mr. Hung.
