This year's Quan The Am - Ngu Hanh Son Festival takes place from March 16 to 19 (February 17 to 20 of the lunar calendar), attracting tens of thousands of people and tourists to come and worship with the procession of the statue and costume of Bodhisattva Quan The Am.
The Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara's birthday ceremony is an official ceremony of the Avalokitesvara - Ngu Hanh Son Festival.
The ceremony expresses a message of love, directing sincerity to Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, praying for the country to always be peaceful and prosperous, and for the people to be happy and peaceful.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai (60 years old, living in Son Tra district, Da Nang city) shared: "Every year I come to the festival because I believe that Bodhisattva will bless me, pray for health and peace for my family. Although it is crowded, there is no jostling or pushing at the festival, everyone is happy."
