Orient Commercial Joint Stock Bank (OCB) has just announced information about Deputy General Director Nguyen Van Huong's resignation based on personal wishes.

Mr. Nguyen Van Huong was appointed as Deputy General Director in charge of OCB's retail sector from the end of 2022 and is one of four people holding the position of deputy general for General Director Pham Hong Hai, who was appointed from May 6, 2024.

Previously, OCB also dismissed Mr. Bui Thanh Trung from his position as deputy general director from April 17, 2024.

The Board of Directors of OCB Bank has also received the resignation letter of Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tung as a member of the Board of Directors according to his personal wishes. Mr. Tung held the position of General Director of OCB from April 2012 to April 2024.

Senior personnel at the Prosperity and Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank (PGBank) has also just had a big change when 3 leaders simultaneously resigned.

Accordingly, the 2024 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders approved the resignation of Ms. Dinh Thi Huyen Thanh from the position of General Director for personal reasons.

In addition to Ms. Thanh, Mr. Nguyen Thanh To, deputy general director, also resigned on May 21 after 14 years of working at this bank.

Notably, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam - an independent member of the Board of Directors of PGBank - also resigned after only joining the Board of Directors of this bank since October 2023.

At An Binh Bank (ABBank), since the beginning of the year, this bank has dismissed 4 deputy general directors: Nguyen Manh Quan, Do Lam Dien, Nguyen Khanh Phuc and Nguyen Hong Quang.

There was also a major change in senior personnel at Eximbank when Ms. Do Ha Phuong resigned from the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors from April 26. Replacing Ms. Ha Phuong's position is Mr. Nguyen Canh Anh, who was elected to the Board of Directors from September 2023. After leaving the position of Chairman, Ms. Do Ha Phuong continues to stay on the Board of Directors of Eximbank as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.

At Kien Long Commercial Joint Stock Bank (KienlongBank), Ms. Tran Thi Thu Hang resigned from the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors from July 9, 2024 according to her personal wishes. After resigning, Ms. Hang continued to participate in the Board of Directors as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of this bank. Previously, Ms. Hang was known as the youngest chairman of the bank at the age of 36 (May 2021).

Mr. Tran Ngoc Minh, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director, was elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Tran Hong Minh, Deputy General Director, held the position of Acting General Director.

At Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank), four deputy general directors have just been dismissed, and the bank has also added two other personnel to this position.

The four deputy general directors of SeABank have been dismissed, including: Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Quynh (transferred to the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of SeABank Debt Management and Asset Exploitation Company Limited); Mr. Vo Long Nhi (transferred to the position of Director of External Affairs and Project Development of SeABank); Mr. Hoang Manh Phu (transferred to become a member of SeABank's Supervisory Board) and Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy (transferred to become a member of the Board of Directors).
