At the music night, the audience also enjoyed the Italian Symphony No. 4 in A major by composer Mendelssohn.

The Italian symphony was born in the early Romantic era, containing typical characteristics of the new artistic style compared to the classical period: woodwinds were given more priority to individual melodies, making the music rich in poetry; the intensity levels were meticulously applied, diverse in the range from soft to loud, creating intense emotional effects.

Together with the Hanoi Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of conductor Yury Tkachenko, artist Anh Quan performed Franz Krommer's Clarinet Concerto in E-flat Major, Op. 36. Unlike many other concertos that honor the individual, Krommer lets the solo clarinet continuously dialogue with the orchestra, creating a close harmony between the instrument and the work as a whole.

The program brings famous concertos from the world's music treasure and is also an ambitious art project, marking meaningful artistic collaborations between artist Bui Cong Duy and international guest artists.

The concert was scheduled to last 90 minutes, but the endless applause made the artists stay on stage to perform, entertaining the audience who did not want to leave.

The Hanoi Symphony Orchestra has been chosen by the Party and State many times to perform in the country's political and foreign affairs activities, most recently the foreign visit to Indonesia and Singapore of General Secretary To Lam and his wife, which was also the first official time a Vietnamese symphony orchestra accompanied the country's top leader to perform internationally. This is also a great recognition of the Party and State for the Orchestra.
